Dan Vanhoudt knows how to reproduce Dylan's lyrics with equal venom and enthusiasm. His guitar work is warm and sometimes virtuosic. Vanhoudt: “I was deeply touched by the album Desire. There was a time when I fell asleep with Hurricane every night. It feels like an honor to be able to perform this repertoire with this band full of talented musicians.”
Evergreens
Vanhoudt makes his own version of Dylan-evergreens, following the example of the master himself, and is supported by his regular companions Bass van Heel and Maikel Duijzings. They continue to tighten the basics again and again, creating an impressive and very musical band that guarantees an entire evening of musical nostalgia and emotion. G.R. Harrison on lap steel, Linda Koolen on vocals and Bartje Blues on mouth harp complete the band. Back to Dylan emphasizes the period '65-'75, but the musicians also do not shy away from later work.
